The second edition of ISA: G11 Media’s SecurityOpenLab magazine once again honors Cyber Guru
Merone, November 25, 2025 – The second edition of the Italian Security Awards has concluded with the traditional awards ceremony recognizing all the winners.
This year, G11 Media, a leading publisher in the digital technologies sector, and SecurityOpenLab, an online magazine focused on cybersecurity topics, highlighted the top cybersecurity solution vendors in the Italian market.
These vendors were selected based on direct end-user evaluations, with end users voting for their preferred technology providers across various industry categories.
As in the previous edition, the final rankings of the Italian Security Awards 2025 result from voting by cybersecurity end-users. Over 8,500 unique users participated in a two-phase evaluation process to express their preferences.
This shows significant growth compared to last year’s participation figures, highlighting the value and appreciation of a project that enables Italian users to identify vendors who effectively meet their needs and support compliance with current cybersecurity standards.
The Italian Security Awards serve as a valuable ever-changing landscape. The evaluation methodology is grounded in a transparent, impartial platform that provides a realistic, accurate representation of customer needs and expectations.
The Italian Security Awards 2025 were structured according to vertical cybersecurity domains that best reflect current cyber risk dynamics and the primary needs of Italian companies and organisations. They were able to express their preferences across 21 market categories.
The vendors who received the most votes in each category of the Italian Security Awards 2025 were honoured during an event held at Theatro in Verano Brianza, attended by over 150 industry representatives, ICT professionals, and market observers.
The event was enhanced by the contribution of Context, a long-standing partner of the initiative: the presentation by Joseph Turner, Global Director, Research & Business Development at Context, outlined the Italian cybersecurity market landscape.
In addition to the awards assigned through end-user voting, the Italian Security Awards 2025 included three additional Special awards: Quality Jury Award, Editorial Award, and Best System Integrator in Cybersecurity. This last award is traditionally assigned based on a survey conducted among a representative sample of the leading technology vendors in the Italian cybersecurity market.
