Second edition of ISA: G11 Media’s SecurityOpenLab magazine honors Cyber Guru once again
Merone, November 25, 2025 – The second edition of the Italian Security Awards concluded with the customary awards ceremony for all winners: once again this year, G11 Media, a leading publisher in the digital technologies sector, and SecurityOpenLab, the online magazine dedicated to cybersecurity topics, have highlighted the best cybersecurity solution vendors in the Italian market, selected based on direct end-user evaluations, who voted for their preferred technology vendors across various vertical categories.
As in the previous edition, the final rankings of the Italian Security Awards 2025 are the result of cybersecurity end-users’ voting: over 8,500 unique users expressed their preferences in a two-phase evaluation process.
This represents significant growth compared to last year’s participation figures, demonstrating the validity and appreciation of a project that allows Italian users to identify vendors who concretely meet their needs and support the achievement of today’s required cybersecurity standards.
The Italian Security Awards thus remain a valuable recognition for companies in the sector, offering an overview of solutions that earn user trust in an increasingly competitive and dynamic landscape. The evaluation methodology was based on a transparent and impartial platform, designed to provide a realistic and concrete picture of customer needs and expectations.
The Italian Security Awards 2025 were structured according to vertical cybersecurity domains that best reflect current cyber risk dynamics and the main needs of Italian companies and organizations. They were able to express their preferences across a total of 21 market categories.
The vendors who received the highest number of votes in each category of the Italian Security Awards 2025 were honored during an event held at Theatro in Verano Brianza, attended by over 150 industry representatives, ICT professionals, and market observers.
The event was enhanced by the contribution of Context, a long-standing partner of the initiative: the presentation by Joseph Turner, Global Director, Research & Business Development at Context, outlined the Italian cybersecurity market landscape.
In addition to the awards assigned through end-user voting, the Italian Security Awards 2025 included three additional Special awards: Quality Jury Award, Editorial Award, and Best System Integrator in Cybersecurity. This last award is traditionally assigned based on a survey conducted among a representative sample of the main technology vendors in the Italian cyber security market.
