Cyber crime is increasingly involved in creating new phishing campaigns that exploit current events and trends. All it takes is one click to silently install Ransomware on one’s device. Ransomware, which locks computers for the purpose of extortion, is one of the biggest cyber threats facing organisations worldwide today.

As always, the first rule is to be very careful when clicking on suspicious links and attachments. Particularly if they come from unidentified sources or use the sense of urgency to prompt the click.
