The Coronavirus emergency generated a rapid deployment of Remote working. However, this way of working is offering cyber criminals new possibilities and new spaces to carry out their criminal activities. Defending ourselves requires preventing a number of critical remote working-related issues from turning into vulnerabilities, and turning us into unwitting victims of cyber scams.

In this Card we wanted to highlight 6 practical tips for working safely from home:

  1. beware of phishing emails
  2. use complex and unique passwords
  3. do not use public Wi-Fi
  4. always keep anti-virus software updated
  5. secure Wi-Fi at home
  6. use strong authentication
