Cyber crime continues to exploit every opportunity to create new email phishing campaigns. Being able to recognise them at “a glance” can become difficult, mainly because the level of sophistication has increased enormously compared to the first ungrammatical email campaigns.

What can be done to avoid becoming a victim?

Being aware and the 5 good rules of our cyber card, can help you prevent a phishing attack and its dangerous effects:

  1. avoid impulsive clicks
  2. be suspicious of links
  3. protecting yourself
  4. do not succumb to urgency
  5. question unexpected emails
