Taking advantage of the Coronavirus emergency, cyber crime has increased its phishing attacks using all the channels at its disposal. The attacks are not only more frequent, but also more dangerous. To defend oneself against them, the first thing needed is to be able to recognise them at a “first glance”.

This is why in this Card, we wanted to highlight the 3 most common types of Phishing attacks and the practical tips for recognising them:

  1. phishing using emails
  2. phishing using various messaging systems (smishing)
  3. phishing using the telephone (vishing)
